A Sisterhood Adventure Weekend

Step away from the noise of everyday life and into the wild beauty of connection, adventure, and encounter. UNTAMED is a faith-filled, fun, and adventurous weekend designed for women who are ready to grow - spiritually, relationally, and personally.
This weekend is all about being outdoors, embracing adventure, and creating space to meet with Jesus in a fresh way. Together, we’ll step into the mountains with open hearts, getting to know Him more deeply while also building meaningful connections with one another. Through shared experiences, cabin conversations, and late-night campfire chats, we believe this will be a space where you can both know others and be fully known.
Expect a choose-your-own-adventure style weekend where you’re invited to take risks, grow in courage, and step outside your comfort zone. Whether you’re trying something new or simply enjoying the beauty around you, this is a chance to leave behind the distractions of everyday life and fully embrace joy, freedom, and connection.
Join us at Frontier Lodge (near Nordegg), just under three-hour drive from Leduc, for a meaningful and refreshing getaway surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.
What to Expect:
Friday is our Adventure Day, where you’ll choose your experience based on your comfort level and interests:
- Water: Beginner to intermediate white water rafting
- Land: Mountain biking & hiking
- Sky: Traverse & rappelling with a guided hike
The rest of the weekend will include intentional time for connection, fun, and renewing our hearts.

- Thursday evening: Please bring your own snacks (dinner not provided)
- Friday & Saturday: Full meals included
Pricing:
Early Bird: $260 (May 3 – June 30) *also if you register before June 13th, you'll be able to select a payment plan which splits the cost into 3 payments over 3 months.
Regular: $300 (July 1 – August 2)

What to Bring:
Personal Items: If you do not have items with an asterisk(*), the Frontier Lodge can provide them for you.
- Personal toiletries: including towel, shampoo, toothbrush, etc.
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Raincoat and pants (You can check the waterproofing or resistance before you come)*
- 1-2 fleece, wool, or down jacket(s) (avoid bringing cotton if you can)
- Shirts/tank top (avoid bringing cotton if you can)
- 2 pairs of synthetic or wool hiking socks (avoid bringing cotton if you can)
- Shorts to put over your wetsuit (White Water Adventures)
- Non-cotton hiking or track/athletic pants (avoid bringing cotton if you can)
- Comfortable clothes to wear around camp (Pants, shirts, hoodies, socks, etc.)
- Sunglasses (for sunny adventure days)
- Sunscreen (especially if you are fair skinned)
- Swimsuit
- Watch/phone (for wake-up alarm and pictures)
- Bandana or buff
- Hat or toque
Gear:
- Hiking boots/runners (sturdy closed-toed footwear for hiking)*
- Water bottles: 2 litres*
- Day backpack 20-30L (suitable for carrying extra layers, lunch, water and a bit of
- equipment)*
Optional - if you have it, bring it:
- Flashlight/headlamp for walking around at camp at night*
- Single mattress sheet
- Indoor shoes or slippers
- Camera
- Insect repellent
- Journal and pen
- Money for the eddy - tuck shop (Cash, credit, debit)
- Outdoor games, kayaks, paddle boards, etc, lawn chair.
